Anzac Biscuits Empty Anzac Biscuits

120g butter chopped
100g golden syrup
Melt in mixing bowl for 3 minutes 60c speed 2
1tspn bicarb soda
add bicarb mix 20 sec speed 3
scrape sides of bowl.
100g rolled oats
150g plain flour
70g brown sugar or rapadura
50g dried coconut

mix all 15 sec speed 4 scrape sides of bowl and mix 15sec speed 4 repeat if needed to form cookie dough.
place spoonfuls onto lined tray and flatten slightly, bake 8-10 minutes at 160c fan forced. I have made these a few times and sometimes they are crunchy and weirdly other times soft and chewy. Recipe adapted from thermomix community.
